Carriage House Design Steel Garage Doors
The Designer's Choice is a four-section
stamped steel carriage house door with a bead-board
design. It features triple-layer construction with
25-gauge exterior steel, 1-3/8" or 2” polyurethane insulation,
and a 27-gauge steel interior. The Designer's Choice has an
R-value of 11.04 (DC-400) or 15.67 (DC-500) and is available in four colors (white,
almond, sandtone, and brown).There are also eight window
options.

The ultimate 1-3/8" sandwich constructed door for the 21st century. High density polyurethane foam completely fills the entire section cavity to yield an "R" value of 11.04, making the door sections almost 300% more energy efficient than conventional polystyrene doors. Both the interior and exterior skins are separated with non-conductive thermal seals to reduce heat and cold transfer. Core foam densities averaging 2.75 lbs. a cubic foot are over 3 times higher than most polystyrene products allowing for improved dent resistance and greatly enhanced wind load resistance. Heavy gauge woodgrained embossed interior and exterior skins are coated with G-60 galvanization protection which is 50% heavier than industry standards. Finally, with a two coat baked on polyester finish on all surfaces including the end stiles. |

Door Track and Hardware Features: All Designer's Choice track and hardware is specifically engineered for the size and weight of each individual door and consists of heavy-gauge hot dipped galvanized track, hinges and fasteners, grease packed ball bearing rollers, cast aluminum drums or sheaves, and oil tempered springs, all designed to give many years of trouble free service.
Options: Include low headroom track for limited clearance and 32" radius high lift for special applications.
